| These works are part of a long-time, on-going series that is somewhat autobiographical and that addresses personal and universal concerns with our world and its environment. Native American objects, symbols and hand signs are often incorporated in the imagery to honor and emphasize these beliefs as well. This series in particular deals with the transitory and the enduring, the specific and the universal, things of the actual world and of the spirit. Memories, tributes and memorials contribute to the content and inspire me. As always progress and science introduce new issues for us all to consider pragmatically, morally and spiritually. This series too is a tribute to my father, my mother and grandparents who had similar problems to solve. May we have wisdom. |
