Artist Statement
I am local Artist, living in Altadena, California for over 35 years. The current paintings are from the Hahamongna Water Shed Park, the Arroyo. My home overlooks the canyon and JPL bordering on La Cresenta. I have walked this canyon for many years and felt it was time to honor the beautiful landscapes that change each day and each season. I never tire of its beauty and spirit of life that it offers, the amazing peace it gives, it is filled with the magic of nature's love. I have tried to capture those moments of light and color that is always fleeting.
As an Artist, I have painted and created most of my life, I have recently retired and will finally be able to fulfill my dream of painting and will be able to now return to my passion of creating art.
